The Kirah Legacy Research Grant was created in loving memory of Kirah, a brilliant, compassionate young woman whose life was tragically cut short at just 19 by Constitutional Mismatch Repair Deficiency (CMMRD). Kirah was more than a patient—she was a powerhouse. A gifted singer-songwriter. A standout athlete. A radiant model. A fiercely loving sister and a light to all who knew her. Her life, though short, was filled with purpose, promise, and passion.

To honor the memory of CMMRD heroes, we also launched the Legacy Package Program, providing families coping with loss a way to cherish and preserve their loved one’s legacy.
